(Inter)National Health Service – Killing The Poor Since 1948

December 31, 2012

I loathe the (I)NHS for a dozen reasons, but the recent report from the Marie Curie Palliative Care Institute and the Royal College of Physicians (source: Daily Mail Dec 30, 2012) stating that 60,000 are on the “Liverpool Care Pathway” without being told they are marked for death seems to have surprised people.

Not me. Sure, as individuals we can kill each other in ones and twos, or with a concerted effort (plus psychotropic drugs) a nutter can manage a few tens of deaths. But if you want to reduce the population on anything like the scale necessary to help Gaia heal, you must, must get the state involved.

So, well done (I)NHS. I salute your LCP, your neglect, your callousness and your stupidity.
